Yek Languages is building practical language-learning tools designed to help people learn languages and connect across cultures.
Our first product, Yek Flashcards, is being developed for both English speakers learning Persian (Farsi) and Persian speakers learning English. The goal is to make vocabulary practice simple, accessible, and useful for real learners, with features such as audio pronunciation, progress tracking, and flexible study sessions.
Yek is starting with Persian and English, but the vision extends beyond a single language pair. We want to build learning experiences that are thoughtful about language, culture, accessibility, and the needs of the people who use them.
Yek Languages is currently in development. We're building, testing, learning from feedback, and improving the experience one step at a time.
Why Yek?
Two-way learning
Yek is being designed from the beginning for both directions of learning: English speakers learning Persian (Farsi) and Persian speakers learning English. Language learning should be a conversation, not a one-way street.
Hear the language
Vocabulary is more than knowing what a word means. Yek will incorporate audio pronunciation to help learners connect written words with how they are actually spoken.

Yek Flashcards is being built around a straightforward goal: make it easy to practice vocabulary without unnecessary complexity or distractions.

Yek is being developed with accessibility, usability, and learner feedback in mind. We want the people who use Yek to help shape how it evolves.

Persian and English are where Yek begins, but they aren't where the vision ends. Over time, Yek Languages can grow to support additional languages and more ways for people to learn from one another.
